Preparation (Two Methods)
Heat Method:
- Rinse: Thoroughly rinse sea moss to remove salt, sand, and debris.
- Soak: Soak in warm water with lemon for 20 minutes.
- Boil: In a pot, cover sea moss with water and bring to a boil.
- Sit: Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Blend: Blend 1 cup of sea moss with ½ cup distilled or purified water. Add more water if needed until smooth.
No Heat Method:
- Soak: Soak sea moss in warm distilled water with lemon for 12–36 hours, or until soft.
- Rinse: Rinse the sea moss again.
- Blend: Blend the sea moss with distilled water (1–2 inches above the sea moss) until smooth. If it’s grainy, blend longer.
Storage
- Raw Sea Moss: Store in a cool, dark place. Shelf life: 1 year.
- Sea Moss Gel: Refrigerate immediately. Gel lasts up to 4 weeks in the fridge or 1 year in the freezer.
How to Use Dried Sea Moss
- Smoothies & Drinks: Add 1–2 tablespoons of Sea Moss gel (made from soaked dried Sea Moss) to smoothies, shakes, or drinks for a creamy texture and nutrient boost.
- Baking: Add soaked Sea Moss gel to dough for a fluffier rise and nutrient-rich baked goods.
- Soups & Stews: Stir into soups, stews, or sauces for added creaminess and a smooth texture.

Raw Wild Crafted Sea Moss (St. Lucian)
Directions:
Rinse Sea Moss thoroughly, washing away salt, sand, and any debris from the sea using one of the following methods:
HEAT Method: Soak in warm water with lime for 20 minutes. Rinse again.
Add to pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Allow sitting for 20 minutes.
Do not discard water.
Add with water in the ratio of 1 cup of Sea Moss to
1/2 of distilled/purified water.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
If too thick to blend add more water.
NO HEAT METHOD:
Soak in warm purified water with lime between 24-32hrs (Until Soft/Gelatinous)
Rinse Again.
Add to blender with water in a ratio of 1 cup of Sea Moss
to 3-4 cups of distilled/purified water.
If too thick, add more water. Blend until smooth and creamy.
If not soft after soaking, use the heat method.
Refrigerate or freeze immediately after preparation.
Following preparation, the gel will be good for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator and 1 year in the freezer.
Suggestion:
Add 1-2 tbsp to any drink, smoothie, use on skin, can be used as a natural thickener for cooking and baking.
(For baking instead of using yeast just add 2-3 tbsp of sea moss as the riser! It will have a fluffier consistency than yeast)
